In currencies during U.S. hours, The dollar ended at its weakest levels of the session against the yen Tuesday but was holding steady against the euro in mostly quiet trade. Dollar-yen ended a mostly soporific session Tuesday around Y123.50, its weakest levels of the session after a light bout of yen buying drove both dollar-yen and euro-yen lower, traders said. Euro-yen eased to levels around Y108.30, trading just below key technical support at Y108.40 that had underpinned the pair for much of the day. Light stop-loss euro sales were seen when the currency broke the support level, traders said.
