New York, Aug. 29 (BridgeNews) - U.S. stocks declined after the latest gross domestic product report showed that economic growth slowed to an eight-year low in the second quarter. The fact that the data exceeded expectations was little comfort to investors, who pushed the market down for a third day. The Dow Jones industrial average closed down 131.13, or 1.28%, to 10,090.90 and the Nasdaq Composite index was down 21.81, or 1.17%, to 1843.17. The S&P 500 was down 12.95, or 1.11%, to 1148.56.
