TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - Vehicle output in July fell 1.2 pct year-on-year to 883,962 units after a fall of 7.8 pct in June, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association said.
The association provided the following July output figures, with year-on-year percentage changes:
Vehicle output - 883,962 units, down 1.2 pct
Car output - 734,748 units, flat
Vehicle exports - down 6.3 pct
Vehicle output includes cars, trucks and buses.
The figures compare with the following data for June, with year-on-year percentage changes:
Vehicle output - 854,690 units, down 7.8 pct
Car output - 712,687 units, down 6.6 pct
