Washington, Aug. 20 (BridgeNews) - The U.S. government posted a $2.5 billion budget surplus in July, the Treasury announced Monday. The surplus more than reversed the $1 billion deficit expected by analysts, but was below the $5.1 billion surplus recorded in the same month of 2000.
