The yen fell against the euro in Asia Monday, breaching the key Y110.00 level and settling around resistance at Y110.55. The dollar was marginally firmer against the yen, supported by further verbal intervention from Haruhiko Kuroda, Vice Finance Minister for International Affairs. The euro edged higher against the dollar, but trade was thin ahead of Tuesday's meeting of the Federal Reserve's FOMC.
