Hamburg, Aug. 1 (BridgeNews) - Slowing German and global economic growth means German unemployment has started a rising trend and is not likely to fall until second half 2002, according to Ifo economic institute President Hans-Werner Sinn. In an advance release of an interview with newspaper Die Zeit, Sinn also said the value of the euro could rise in 2002, negatively impacting German competitiveness.
