LONDON (AFX) - The UK leading indicator of overall economic activity rose for the ninth straight month in July to 104.28 from 103.18 in June, according to economic and financial research group NTC. NTC said the rise signals a clear upward turning point in the UK business cycle during the third quarter, but does not necessarily translate into gains in rates of growth.
