PARIS (AFX) - French employment rose a provisional 0.4 pct in the second quarter, after increasing 0.8 pct in the first quarter, the statistics office Insee said. Employment stood at 14,908,800 mln at the end of the second quarter compared with 14,844,900 mln at the end of the first. The figures exclude the agriculture, public administration, education and health sectors.
