WIESBADEN, Germany (AFX) - German wholesale sales fell 0.8 pct and were up 2.2 pct from a year earlier, the Federal Statistics Office said. In June and May, the year-on-year change was 3.1 pct up and 4.0 pct higher, respectively. The real wholesale sales index fell to 106.0 in July from June and rose from 103.7 in July 2000 (1995 equals 100).
