Bad Homburg, Germany, July 6 (BridgeNews) - The European Central Bank's vice president Christian Noyer said euro developments have been extremely satisfactory so far. The comments come after the single currency hit a year-low of $0.8350 Thursday afternoon. Noyer also maintained that the current interest rate level was appropriate for medium-term price stability, and that the area's economic slowdown was limited and growth would remain in line with potential.
