Hong Kong, July 4 (BridgeNews) - The yen fell against the dollar and the euro after Japanese Vice Finance Minister for International Affairs Haruhiko Kuroda said there is no reason to stop the yen from weakening if it reflects fundamentals. Market players assumed that the ministry would allow a further decline of the yen on current weak economic fundamentals in Japan. The Japanese unit dropped to as low as 124.82 against the dollar and 105.80 to the euro, compared with the New York closing levels of 124.38 and 105.59.
