Tokyo, July 30 (BridgeNews) - Growing concern over Japan's weak
economy is expected to force Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi to make
compromises to his structural reform agenda and compile a sizeable
supplementary budget despite the coalition party's strong showing in
Sunday's election, traders and analysts said. Japan's coalition government
easily held on to its majority of seats in Sunday's election for the
parliament's House of Councillors.
