Paris, July 24 (BridgeNews) - French consumer spending on manufactured
goods rebounded in June, rising a greater-than-expected 1.5% after a
revised 0.8% drop in May, the national statistics institute INSEE said.
Spending on cars and clothes was particularly strong in June, the figures
showed.
May spending was originally reported as down 0.5% on month. On a
year-over-year basis, June consumption rose 2.7%
