11 July 2001, 13:24 BBK says German adj, annualized CPI rose 3.9% in January-June
Frankfurt, July 11 (BridgeNews) - German consumer prices rose an
annualized, seasonally-adjusted 3.9% in the 6 months through June,
according to data released Wednesday by the Bundesbank. The figure
compares with a 3.5% rise for the 6 months through May, the central bank
said.

The central bank said the June index measured 110.1, compared with
109.9 in May.
The Federal Statistics Office Wednesday separately released its own
German consumer price data--which is not seasonally adjusted.
The final June CPI was confirmed at up 0.2% from May and up 3.1% on
the year.
