By Jim Cote
Chicago, June 27 (BridgeNews) - The dollar rose against the yen and staved off an overnight attack from the euro ahead of this afternoon's Federal Open Market Committee policy meeting. The dollar rose to a two-day high against the yen and recovered from a 10-day low against the euro.
Wednesday's domestic economic agenda revolves around Fed's announcement of the results of its FOMC policy meeting. The market has already priced in a 25-basis point rate cut, however, some expect a 50-basis point cut.
The intraday outlook is mixed ahead of the Fed announcement.
