Tokyo, June 27 (BridgeNews) - Japanese shares ended the morning session almost flat in narrow directionless trade ahead of Wednesday's meeting of the U.S. Federal Open Market Committee. Bank and select defensive issues gave support to the market downside. The Nikkei 225 Stock Average fell 2.12 points, or 0.02%, to 12,976.70.
