NOTE - Economists polled by had expected a 0.6 percent rise in wholesale prices month-on-month and a 3.3 percent rise year-on-year. The Office also said that excluding oil products, wholesale prices were up 3.0 percent year-on-year in May, down from 3.2 percent in April.
