1 June 2001, 16:22  OUTLOOK: BoE seen leaving rates on hold on June 6

LONDON (AFX) - The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee is widely expected to leave UK interest rates unchanged at 5.25 pct on June 6, with all 20 economists surveyed by AFX News looking for rates to be held. According to the median estimate of those analysts polled, the chance of a 0.25 point reduction in the Bank's repo rate is put at 20 pct.
