LONDON (AFX) - The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee is widely expected to lower the repo rate to 5.25 pct on Thursday, with all 22 economists surveyed by AFX News looking for a 0.25 pct reduction. According to the median estimate of those analysts polled, the chance of a 0.25 point decrease in the Bank's repo rate is put at 60 pct.
