London, May 7 (BridgeNews) - European markets were mostly higher in thin trade because of a bank holiday in the U.K. and ahead of a public holiday in France Tuesday. Technology, media and telecom stocks were generally higher, while oil company shares gained on merger and acquisition announcements.
