7 May 2001, 09:31 Japan stocks end morning down 0.9% on profit-taking
Tokyo, April 7 (BridgeNews) - Japanese shares ended the morning
session lower on profit-taking following the recent rally prior to the
Golden Week holidays. Investors were reluctant to take fresh positions
ahead of Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's policy speech later in the
day, traders said. The Nikkei fell 0.9%, or 133.54 points, to 14,288.10.
