U.S. equity markets fell deep into negative territory supplying the short end of the curve with good support. The Nasdaq composite dropped 3.04%, a 70.37 point drop to 2,243.48. The Dow industrials dropped 1.35%, by 151.73 points to 11,105.51. The S&P 500 was down 1.55% at the close, 20.33 points lower to 1,289.05.
