The broader market declined, however, as investors took some money off the table after recent gains. The Nasdaq closed up 8 points, or 0.35%, to 2313. The Dow was down 80 points, or 0.71%, to 11,257 and the S&P 500 was down 3 points, or 0.27%, to 1309.
