U.S. share prices were mostly lower Friday in a quiet ending to a lively week that saw both the Dow Industrials and the Nasdaq Composite build gains. The Nasdaq Composite closed up 0.24%, a slight 5.2 point gain to 2,198.88, up 4.3% for the week. The Dow industrials finished up 0.47%, 53.16 points to 11,301.74. The S&P 500 was up 0.27%, 3.47 points, closing at 1,291.96.
