11 May 2001, 10:45 BBK says German adj, annualized CPI rose 3.2% in Nov-Apr
Frankfurt, May 11 (BridgeNews) - German consumer prices surged an
annualized, seasonally-adjusted 3.2% in the 6 months through April,
according to data released Friday by the Bundesbank. The figure compares
with a 2.6% rise for the 6 months through March, the central bank said.

The central bank said the April index measured 109.5, compared with
109.1 in March.
The Federal Statistics Office earlier Friday separately released its
own German consumer price data--which is not seasonally adjusted.
The final April CPI was revised up to show 0.4% rise from March and a
2.9% jump on the year.
