Following Wall Street's poor performance Friday, Asian stock markets weregenerally lower Monday. Among the biggest losers were Japan's Nikkei 225Index, down 4.05%; Singapore's Straits Times Index, down 3.38% in lateafternoon; and Malaysia's Composite Index, down 3.51% in late afternoon.
