New York, April 5 (BridgeNews) - The Nasdaq soared almost 9% and the Dow industrials jumped 400 points after Dell Computer's (DELL) reaffirmation of earnings guidance and a bullish analyst call on Yahoo! (YHOO) ignited a buying frenzy. The Nasdaq ended up 146.33, or 8.93% - its third biggest percentage gain on record - to 1785.13. The index fell almost 11% over the last three days. The Dow was up 402.63 - its second biggest point gain on record - or 4.23%, to 9918.05 and the S&P 500 was up 48.22, or 4.37%, to 1151.47.
