TOKYO, April 25 - Japan's gross domestic product (GDP) rose a revised0.7 percent in real terms in October-December from the previous quarter, comparedwith a preliminary estimate of 0.8 percent growth, the government said on Wednesday.Private capital spending rose a revised 6.7 percent in the three-month period, downslightly from the preliminary estimate of a 6.8 percent rise, the government's Economicand Social Research Institute said. The preliminary, quarter-on-quarter rise was slightly better than economists' forecasts. Wednesday's report is an interim revision. The final revision to October-DecemberGDP data is expected to be announced around the end of this year.
