PARIS (MktNews) - Most analysts expect the CDAF/ purchasing managers index for France to resume its gradual, month-long descent in March from a peak of 64.8 in May after the uptick in February. The median forecast of a Market News survey of 11 analysts sees the PMI at 52.3, down 0.6 point after a 0.2-point recovery in February. Analysts cite the deteriorating global situation and the erosion in Insee's sector survey. The median forecast still points to modest growth. The March PMI index is to be released at 6:45 GMT today.
