U.S. share prices were steady late Monday as the earnings season began to pick up steam, including results from major banks, but dealers said action was quiet in post-Easter trade. The Nasdaq Composite, was down 51.86 at the close, at 1909.57 after four straight upward sessions last week. The Dow Industrials closed up 31.62 points, at 10,158.56. The S&P 500 slipped 3.82, to end at 1179.68.
