New York, March 5 (BridgeNews) - U.S. stocks advanced as investors brushed off another round of profit warnings and negative analyst notes and scooped up stocks that have been beaten down recently. Trade was thin, however, with some participants drifting home early before the weather in the Northeast deteriorates. The Nasdaq closed up 25.26, or 1.19%, to 2142.89 and the Dow was up 95.99, or 0.92%, to 10,562.30.
