23 March 2001, 10:45 NYMEX Oil Review: Crude down on supply, econ fears; products up
New York, March 22 (BridgeNews) - NYMEX crude futures ended lower
Thursday despite gains in nearby gasoline and heating oil futures amid
ongoing concern about a slowing economy, and that Mexico will not
cooperate with OPEC's output cut of 1 million barrels per day starting
April 1. May crude settled down 26 cents at $26.54 a barrel, although
nearby Apr heating oil settled up 102 points at 72.63c a gallon and Apr
gasoline settled up 73 points at 90.96c a gallon.
