20 March 2001, 16:27  MEDIAN FORECAST FOR US JAN INTERNATIONAL TRADE: -$33.0 BLN

WASHINGTON (MktNews) - The trade deficit is expected to be unchanged in January at $33.0 billion as factory shipments and Boeing deliveries indicate that exports were lagging while imports are expected to post a slight decline. Though energy prices spiked in U.S. PPI and CPI in January, petroleum import prices were softer in the month.
