LONDON (AFX) - UK January final M4 money supply was up 1.2 pct on a seasonally-adjusted basis from the previous month leaving it 9.4 pct higher than in the same month a year earlier, the Bank of England said.
This compares with provisional estimates which showed M4 up 1.1 pct on the month and 8.0 pct year on year. Final M4 lending rose 9.4 bln stg in January -- equivalent to a 0.9 pct increase on the month and an 11.6 pct year-on-year rise -- following an unrevised 8.2 bln stg rise the month before.
