FRANKFURT (MktNews) - The harmonized consumer price index for the euro zone is expected to rise 0.1% in January from December levels and 2.6% from January 2000, according to the median forecast of 15 economists surveyed by Market News International. The high forecast is for consumer prices to rise 0.3% on the month and 2.8% on the year, while the low forecast calls for prices to remain unchanged on the month and to rise 2.5% on the year. In December, harmonized consumer prices rose 0.1% on the month and rose 2.6% on the year.
