PARIS (AFX) - Finance Minister Laurent Fabius said the euro should benefit from the euro zone's strong economic position. Europe's economic fundamentals are good, he said. "More and more, everybody is becoming aware of that and this necessarily has an impact on the parity (of the euro), which is fixed by the markets," he said. "If Europe keeps on being a strong economic zone, that is good for the euro", he said. Fabius also said that the euro zone, the U.S. and Asia need to think about a scheme of "regulation" between the three zones in order to have a more stable economic system.
