LONDON (AFX) - UK January final M0 money supply rose a seasonally-adjusted 0.9 pct from December and was 4.1 pct higher than in January 1999, according to the Bank of England.
Provisional estimates were for a 1.0 pct rise on the month and for a 4.2 pct increase on the year.
Notes and coins in circulation grew an adjusted 1.1 pct on the month and were 4.4 pct up on the year.
