UK shop prices fell 0.05% in December on a year earlier after posting anannual rise of 0.6% in the previous month, the British Retail Consortiumsaid Thursday. Сompared with the previous month, prices increased by0.13% in December. This was mainly a result of rises in the price of non-food items, the BRC said. Food prices fell, however, with the exception of the price for pork.
