EMU DATA: October 2000 preliminary whole world trade showed a surplus of E3.7 bln. That compared with a surplus of E7.0 bln in October 1999. September was revised down to a deficit of E0.4 bln from a surplus of E3.3 bln. EU15 trade showed a deficit of E5.8 bln in October compared to a E0.6 bln deficit in October 1999.
