Tokyo--Jan. 31--Japan's non-farm payroll salary averaged 674,000 yen in December, down 0.5% from a year earlier, because special income, including bonuses, fell 1.5% on year in the month, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced. Non-farm payroll salaries declined for the first time since July, the ministry said.
