Paris--Jan. 30--French business chiefs expect production shrink somewhat over the coming months but to remain at high levels, according to the latest monthly survey of industry confidence by the national statistics office, INSEE.
The general confidence index slipped to +115 in January from 116 in December, while the index gauging the outlook for production fell more sharply, to 17 from 25.
