JAPAN DEC. PRELIM. INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT UP 1.5% M/M. Japan's industrial output rose 1.5% in December, comparedto November, on a seasonally adjusted basis, the Ministryof Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) reported. 4Q outputrose 0.3% from the third quarter.
