24 January 2001, 10:42 Bundesbank says workday-adjusted German GDP grew 3.3% in 2000
Frankfurt--Jan. 24--German economy grew 3.3% in 2000, taking into
account fewer working days than the previous year, the Bundesbank said in
its January monthly bulletin, noting that economic growth was the highest
since unification. Growth was underpinned by strong exports, while
domestic demand remained "rather contained," the report said.
