24 January 2001, 10:17  Bundesbank says workday-adjusted German GDP grew 3.3% in 2000

German economy grew 3.3% in 2000, taking into account fewer workingdays than the previous year, the Bundesbank said in its Januarymonthly bulletin, noting that economic growth was the highest sinceunification. Growth was underpinned by strong exports, while domesticdemand remained "rather contained," the report said.
