Tokyo--Jan. 22--Japan's index of leading indicators, which shows economic conditions two to six months ahead, has been revised down to 33.3 for November from a preliminary 57.1, the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) at the Cabinet Office said. All three indexes fell short of the critical 50.0 in the month for the first time since December 1998, suggesting changes could occur in Japan's ongoing economic recovery.
