BOE'S GEORGE: MPC TO REACT 'PROMPTLY' IF PROSPECTS CHANGE Bank of England Governor Edward George said he would be surprised if events since the November Inflation Report have radically altered the prospect of steady economic progress over the next two years, but cautioned that the MPC will be quick to react should such prospects change significantly over the coming months.
