MADRID (AFX) - Large store sales rose a provisional 0.77 pct in November from October and were up 5.62 pct from a year earlier, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said.
The large store sales index, calculated using 1994 as its base, stood at 148.81 in November.
INE said food sales fell 0.96 pct in November from October but rose 5.24 pct from a year earlier, while sales of other goods increased 2.28 pct month-on-month and 6.28 pct year-on-year.
